Craiglist Certified Technician on Audi?

Anyone has tried to look for a certified technician to work on your Audi R8?

What kind of questions I should be asking them before I can trust them?

Sorry for my ignorant, just want to see some inputs about this because I hate going to Dealers for services.

I hate going to the dealers but why the hell would you get someone off the internet that you don't even know can do the job?

Service the car your self but your going to need the tools and computer power

This is too funny.
Only an Audi dealership can send a mechanic for R8 certification. And its very expensive for them to do so. I don't think you will be finding any R8 certified mechanics graduating out of the local community college classifieds nor from any online campus study and then advertising on Craiglist. LOL

Most high quality Porsche/ Ferrari race car tuners and mechanics can do anything you need, but they are also expensive, and they will not know the car intimately, and will probably do a poor job of doing normal preventive checks.

There are many certified Audi r8 technicians that would work side jobs. Feel free to talk to them and ask for their phone numbers. Most will be happy to work on your car after hours. Pricing is usually 50% of what the dealer charges. I have a Mercedes, BMW and Audi tech in the Bay Area.

All kidding aside, this sounds VERY sketchy. Who's going to back you if something goes wrong. Dealer will want a paper trail, and so would subsequent buyers.
