spyders talk to me.

My other half is looking for a "summer car" this has lead to quiet a few arguments. It starts like this she isn't the best driver in the world she can drive but she's too easily distracted and a tad bit blonde(she has brown hair

). She has only every really had range rovers and a discovery before. All of them are covered in dents and scratches

But a few of our friends had big problems with them and one even said "It's a glorified kit car" and did not rate it highly.

I also have worries wether she can control such a RWD car.

She won't order anything as she wants to drive it asap!
This is where the R8 comes in, She has driven mine and been such a easy car to use she will be using it almost everyday.

They are as reliable as the coupes no roof problems?
would a V8 spyder to better?
They handle as well?
Do they have a raising bars incase of a roll over?
Am I worrying to much?

V8 spyder should be fine as it doesnt sound like she will miss the extra horses.

But you are way too nice to your girl friend...

Oh no not married. I've seen the way she drives I think my worries are justified. My father is betting a aston would be in a hedge the first time it rains

I'm not buying her one mark she earns a lot more than me she will be buying it

Its just getting a V8 as she wants to drive it now kind of thing i think a used ones better as its going to get battered. Where as we look after cars and love them ect she just sees it as a car.

There are plenty of folks who, from an economic perspective, can look upon any price range as just another car. If she can afford it, and doesn't care about the impact of dents and scratches on value, then a Spyder sounds like just the ticket,

She is odd with cars. She keeps them really clean inside and out. But wheels are always really curbed and little dents all over it.

Might as well delete this thread I think its aston or a aston :/
