AutoWeek is running an article on the car this week:

The interior is entirely different, the car comes with a large spoiler and GT vents that the normal car doesn't have. I'd consider owning one just because of the interior (I had to remake my interior to get it like I wanted) but only wish it were offered with a manual clutch and gated 6-speed but depending on price, I might overlook that and order one. Anyone know what the MSRP is going to be?

I agree. This new car should have been presented as a "Special Edition" R8 as it is almost identical; and NOT as an all new GT model of the R8.I still don't understand the GT thing
The GT name should represent a very dramatic departure toward a very serious, super lightweight track/street version of the R8. The R8 GT is not that!
But of course, the new Audi R8 "GT" is a VERY VERY nice car.

Has anyone ever sat in a GT Coupe? Does anyone know if the seats come in sizes or is it one-size-fits-most? I'm assuming the Spyder GT seats will be the same as the Coupe's and doubt I'll ever get a chance to sit in one unless I order it and take my chances on being comfortable. I guess I could "flip" the car if it came in and I wasn't comfortable. Being so rare, I imagine I could sell it and even make a few bucks.

Spoke to my dealer's R8 specialist and he says the GT Coupe comes in around the $190s and the Spyder will probably be around $206K. If that car doesn't need any extra-cost options, that's about $22K over a well-equipped V10 Spyder with R-Tronic. He says it's supposed to be 180 lbs lighter than the standard Spyder. If a V10 Spyder is rare, imagine how exclusive the GT will be? I've asked my dealer to keep me updated and expressed my serious intent so we'll see what ensues...
