My new v10 exhaust under construction

Decided to go with a AWE Exhaust for my new..about to arrive V10 Coupe.

This was based on the option to be loudly madly exotic through the straight pipe(bottom tube) which will wake up the neighbors I don't like or the quieter exotic note with the valve closed.

Another consideration was some of the tracks I attend have DB limits and others don't so I can have the best of both worlds at the flick of a Switch

Also I was attracted by the mufflers(weight) being mounted down at the bottom of the car as opposed to the OEM and some other brands placed high up on top of the engine bay.

Loss of overall weight and HP gains are obvious attractions as well.

Alex very kindly sent me this shot of it under construction.

Loving the look of the straight pipe exhaust note mayhem just being held back by a touch of a button switchable valve on the bottom tube and those mufflers on the valve closed run look the business

    Hi Conm

For HP I have decided to go with APR.

The guys on the board seem really happy with the map along with a better support base here in Oz rather than ABT which was my first selection.

Air filters I think might be minimal so I will probably leave standard.

Some other bits for performance at this stage, is a lightweight battery which will remove 22 kgs from over the front wheels.

Also I will be installing some custom made camber kits for the front that provide up to -3.5 negative along with the HR springs.

Researching some other bits for aerodynamics and brakes etc..but if I can remove 40-50kg to start with and get HP up towards 600HP and increase grip the car should feel great.

I would expect it to land here around June 18th.

    Couple of days for install.

Will do some sound measurements along with some clips.

The smaller muffler path is 2 1/4 inches
