    Change gauges?

After seeing a car with white gauges, I decided I wanted to swap out the grey ones in my '11 black/black Spyder. My dealer called their Audi tech support for advice on how to best do this and was told that it couldn't be done; perhaps more accurately, Audi told them that they wouldn't stand behind any attempt to change the gauges. Yet Audi DOES sell the parts. Has anybody here done this?

They are the gauges from the GT but the logo on the dial has only V10 with the GT part removed.

Available now as a option or buy through OEM Plus.

I would have some concerns though about pulling the dash apart to install.

I am sure it would work perfect but..squeaks??

That was my biggest concern. If Audi USA won't stand behind it, it's not worth the risk. Thanks.

    Re: Change gauges?

There are white V10 gauges as mentioned. I have had a customer swap from an early dash with all red DIS display to the later model with a white DIS display without issue. Swapping clusters should not be a major issue. The only issue is that if a dealership won't do the installation and their system is required then you have a problem. Some dealerships will skip along without worrying about warranty issues, however some follow the letter of corporate to a tee.

The gauges are also available here as always

    Cheers,
    Alexander van Gerbig
