V10 arriving soon

Hi all,
Been lurking a while and researching for a fun car. The other day my stage 2+ B5 S4 got remodelled by a peterbilt oil truck. Funny, but I was quite a bit releaved, had her for 11 years, original turbos and all. Wife and I spent a weekend trip away testing cars and I was very tempted by the Cayman S or the C4S. The decision haunted me really because I couldn't find an R8 and the porches were so accessible. My neighbor had 2 R8's in his basement 3 months ago, but he sold them sight unseen. I was about to move on a Cayman R when my audi guy called and said that Audi Canada has just announced that 2011 V8 models will get a 20K rebate. So I said "you got one?" lets do it. Next day it turns out the vehicle he thought he had was purchased by an owner of a dealership in Ontario. The good news is I realized that the Porsche wouldnt do it for me, I'm 6'5 and I'd always find the legroom in the Cayman lacking. Found a 2010 V10 Black with Oxygen sideblades, 8K km, and it should be in my garage by the 24th of the month.

Really enjoy the boards, lots to learn yet.

Thanks I really appreciate your thoughts. Basically, I felt I would be settling for the cayman. Getting excited about the R8.

Sold the B5S4 today . I had just put a new set of coilovers on her and was test driving it before a wheel alignment when the fuel truck crushed it. Got a payout and my mechanic bought it and plans to do the work and flip it.
