How long does it take to get throug customs?

My car will be in the San Diego port this Monday. How long will it take to clear customs?

Maybe some can chime in with a more accurate estimate but come on, how long is a piece of string. It all depends what customs have to look at before your vehicle and where in the line it is so I guess unless you speak to customs themselves there is no more accurate way of knowing.

I admire your patience thus far in waiting for the car from the factory.

For those who ordered there car from the factory, what was your wait time through customs? Just want to get an idea of what to expect. And no, it hasn't been easy waiting.

All that I can tell you is that mine is "scheduled" to take a week between port arrival and release to carrier for transport to the dealer. It is a long wait, but, totally out of our control. Good luck!
