Going on a R8 factor tour

Hi guys,

I've been invited to tour the R8 factory in Neckarsulm as a part of the R8 GT experience.

My question is on the logistics part of it. I'm planning on flying to Frankfurt and then take a hired car to Neckarsulm. Any idea where to stay?

I know a few of you have been there. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If you are going soon, don't eat any uncooked vegetables, sprouts or salads. Otherwise have a great time.

First thing is you are going to love it!!!

We stayed at a Hotel in Jagsthausen(old Roman town)which was around a 30 min drive although there are hotels much closer.


Very quietly and discretely ask your guide if you can TAKE some photo's occasionally.

Photo's are absolutely not allowed but depending on your guide they just might assist.

See if you can drive around the R8 test track inside the factory grounds.

Fascinating tour and Audi will treat you like Royalty.
