Spyder first week home

Fantastic car and the stick shift is incredibly smooth. Shifting gears has an awesome metallic sound like loading a rifle. Unexpectedly got caught in an early evening downpour and wipers were smaller in size than I had expected but adequate. Here are pics from earlier in the day when the car was still clean!

The leather covered navi. surround looks good. The whole car is AWESOME.

Yeah. Keeping the black leather upholstery with the black leather on dash and contrast stitching really makes it look special. Avoids the "choppy" look with contrasting colors on doors plus the standard Audi black plastic window switches blend in more. Very impressed with quality of the carbon fiber inlays, especially the monoposto where the finish changes from polished to matte when it turns the corner around the cowl. This was apparently done to avoid glare from reflections.

Stitching is actually "titanium" so thought it would look a little darker than it does but not complaining!

I don't think that's leather on the navi surround. Pretty sure it's just the standard matte black that comes on the spyder.

@homewood: Can you confirm?

BTW - Looks terrific!! I especially like the white dials. They have an almost "clock-like" dimensional appearance in person.
