Question EPC light on instrument cluster...

Hello fellas. Just got in from a drive, and noticed the EPC light appeared. It has come on before, but went off while driving, and I forgot all about it. Tried to look in the manual while driving, (not the best idea, I know) but didn't find anything on it.
Any help on what this is, and if I need to get it in to the dealer would be much appreciated.

Is your gas filler cap on tightly enough (tightened until it clicks)? This seems to be the common cause of EPC lights.

It should be, I have driven on a few different occasions since last filling up.

You should get a vag-com, then you can plug in and find the cause of light

Electronic Power Control (EPC) and generally has to do with the drive-by-wire system, electronic throttle control. There are several sensors which are involved with the EPC, plus the throttle bodies. If anything isn't working properly you will get an EPC light and in many cases severely decreased throttle abilities. I suggest having a scan done of the engine module for stored codes. You may have something just starting to go south and it's best to deal with it now rather than get stuck somewhere with limited throttle controls.
