You should pull the trigger. I can't see driving any other spyder but this one. That CF windshield frame is gorgeous.

I'm trying, believe me! So far, no one has allocation but I've been in an email conversation with the sales manager at a dealer not far from where I live and asked to be in the number one slot to order one if and when they get allocation (they did get allocation for a GT Coupe, so there's a good chance they'll get a Spyder GT, too). I just emailed him an offer to put up a cash deposit right now if they'll take it and assure me the #1 spot. I also just left word for the sales manager at the dealer where I purchased my Spyder last December so let's see if he calls me back and what he says. I'm intent on putting down a deposit at one or both of them and whoever comes through first is who I'll order the car from. Just someone give me the trigger and I'll pull it!

My original dealer is willing to give me the #1 spot in return for a 10% deposit. They are likely to get only one Spyder GT and I intend for it to be mine! I was their first Spyder sale and now I'll be their first (and perhaps only) Spyder GT sale.

Congrats! 10% down seems like a lot especially for a returning customer. Tell them it is along way off and you want your money working for you in the mean time and you will give them 5,000 to sit on. That's what I did.
