How Many of You Would Buy an R8 AND a Gallardo?

Interesting question given the various comparo's b/w the two. Most reviews have acknowledged the technology sharing b/w the Gallardo and the R8, but have also confirmed that the two are very different. The R8 with it's refined sportsmanship versus the Gallardo's "always on" aggressiveness.

I've been a Gallardo owner, and am looking to put down a deposit on an R8. IMO, I think both cars can exist within a single garage without the driver feeling too much redundancy. Both are styled different and drive differently (so it seems), yet both are backed with Audi's superb build quality, styling and masterful engineering.

IMO, this is the best of both worlds.

Your thoughts?

Good question... I also owned Gallardo, but didn't liked e-gear so, I sold it after few months... Gallardo is IMHO excellent car-really sportive and with more character then most competitors(F430 or 997 turbo).

To have both in the same garage? Well, honestly I do not know... R8 is more refined and usable in every day driving situation... Gallardo is more extreme...
Both use high reving NA engines...

If you can afford to own both-go for it!
