Wow Finally I’m here in this forum!
Hlo everyone my name is Ahmed from UAE and it sound funny that someone change his car and own a lp560!! (I sold it because I need cash )



I sold my lp560 lasr 4 months and I was looking for similar car in performance! My dealer offered me a v10 suskiy gray it will arrive my home by end of August. I hope I will love this car
BTW within two days I will order the AWE system and the GT wing. So what do you think? Also do you really recommend me AWE system? I like more the F1 sound.

In regards to the AWE Exhaust..I have just received mine and it is at the Audi Dealer for installation next week.

I will post comments soon along with some video clips and DB measurements.

Welcome! And congrats on making a very wise decision! You will not be disappointed with your decision. It is hard to get F1 sound with these cars though... I believe Tubi may be the best route to achieve anything close to it, and even then it's not the same sound you'd get from a Lambo or Ferrari.

With that said, the R8 V10 shares a similar if not identical engine to the Lamborghini Gallardo and therefore an exhaust on a Gallardo will sound just about exactly the same on the R8 V10.

Well, I have the Tubi on my V10 and was seeking a Gallardo (F1) like sound. While it is probably as close as you are going to get with what is available, it does not sound like a Gallardo. I suspect it has something to do with the bodywork around the exhaust and tips, or a slightly different valvetrain? It will be interesting to see if the APR tune changes the sound at all (when I get around to it).

Possibly a different primary Cat or different exhaust manifolds compared to the Audi.

Having just driven the STaSIS SC R8 V10, and also the VF Engineering SC LP560-4 a few weeks ago, I can confirm that (even with the STaSIS exhaust on the R8) no one is going to mistake the Audi sound for the Lambo sound.

For myself..it came down to a Tubi or a AWE after many hours of research.

Maybe its best to jump onto You Tube and listen to the sound you like and research from there.
