First of all thank to Sul-R8 for pulling this together, I had a great time and it was cool to meet the other members and talk "shop".

Definitely a pleasure meeting everyone. Freshmeat showed up later, but did not have his R8. Loved Sultan's Suzuka grey R8. First time I've seen that color in person, and didn't know it was metallic.

The convertible top mechanism is actually very cool to watch in action. Bill treated us to a demonstration.

Yep, I went to SonicMotorsports immediately after touching down in SFO from Shanghai but the Sonic crew was already all at Santana Row and so I couldn't pick up the car.

I picked up my car after the meet though and my oh my, driving the it back to SF was an absolute orgasm...I still have a grin on my face...the sound is just INTOXICATING!!! So much more than the video clip could ever capture.

I will definitely be bringing the car out to the next meet. It was nice to finally meet you Calbenzo, your license plate completely threw me off...for a minute I thought NVRL8R8 relocated from Chicago and traded-in his ibis V8 for a V10!!!

Would be nice to meet a couple local R8 folks. I was cutting a hole through three layers of on the A8 to get to the extremely broken trunk latch and then subsequently replacing the trunk this weekend unfortunately. Luckily after all that work a construction sign fell down the side of the car off a truck today, less damage than I imagined, but never ends with cars now does it? Looks like a good showing!
