In standard format the coupe is quite a bit quiter. It is, however, much better to drive IMO.
Having lived with both... the Spyder is just a bit noiser inside with the roof up but you get the advantage of the a beautiful exhaust note with the roof down.
They drive just a little bit apart as well with the coupe being a little bit sharper and faster... and the suspension not as firm.
I love the coupe for the exposed engine and sideblades which the spyder misses out on.
Your choice really comes down though to "lifestyle"
If you want one of the best convertibles out there and the wind blowin in your hair then the Spyder is the choice.
However if you want the sharper knife in the drawer then the coupe is the way to go.![]()
