I trust S-A means semi-automatic, in which case that shows around 37% of v8 and v10 coupes are r-tronic. interestingly, the spyder v10 shows more r-tronic than manual at 54%

The high Rtronic % in the Spyders could be more related to a lifestyle purchase.

For the US, data would have to come from Audi. Most major states will not release any DMV data. We used to buy mailing lists by car type from individual states, but they've pretty much shut that down.

By the way gazza1, it's the same transmission, just with a different way to swap the cogs.

You are absolutely correct.

I was going to say that you need more skill to use a manual transmission but in pausing and with reflection of driving 3 Rtronics on track and road their is actually more of a art to get the best out of it.

not really a TG fan - much prefer fifth gear. TG is too much about the entertainment rather than the accuracy/honesty imo.
