Declared mods on your car insurance?

    Hi Guys

Occurred to me recently that some of my mods may not be declared on my insurance. Do you declare everything you have done?

    Best Regards
    mark

Yep, can't afford to get a claim turned down for non-disiclosure :-(

yeah mark everything need to be on the policy. even if you have a carbon sills or something. Its also doubtful they will insure the mods they just charge you extra :S

Yeah im hoping it wont affect things drifting. Im currently paying £2000 a year with a £3000 excess. I think its higher due to me being in the city!

I have been with State Farm Insurance here in the States for over 20 years now, and they are one of the biggest insurance companies here in the U.S. My Agent tells me to just save ALL of my receipts. They will not take the info now to raise the premium and pay out later.
I totaled a Mustang nearly 20 years ago. Supplied them with receipts of all the mods I had on the car. I do not know what formula they use to achieve a payout for the car, but I would assume it's only a small percentage of what the original cost was.

Yeah My R8, S14 and R34 all have agreed as insurance in england at least is a right scam. If the 2011 8 v10 got wrote off I doubt with out a agreed value I'de get about £90 even tho to car was around 115k as it stands today

Never get a roll cage took me ages to find a company that would even give me a quote with one and £700 more
