here in the US the GT will come with the std rear glass and not polycarbonate. not sure if the lid will be composite like in the EU spec rear hatch or not. also, no lightweight seats in the US. hence, at least in the US, the GT will really weigh barely 110 lbs less than a std V10. slap and exhaust and an ECU tune on a std V10 and you have about the same p/w ratio as the US GT if not better. i think Ti-Mike verified such facts some time ago. for the premium the GT is not a bargain- though it come with full warranty and be ready to go out the box. the other problem is that you can't get a manual with the GT.

re: the above findings it does seem a bit strange. perhaps the V10 was broken in. i know my car feels faster at the 5K mile mark (like all my audi's before).

My mapped V10 would laugh at a GT. The timing is better, power is smoother, torque is better. it didn't cost silly money to do

Drifting: what color combo & options did you get for your 458? Mine arrives late Aug., Grigio Silverstone on Nero w/ yellow contrast stitching & seat belts. Life, tech, carbon pckg and scud shields.

The U.S. really sucks when it comes to deleting all the good stuff in these cars compared to the European versions. Such a shame!

The other options are the normal sat nav, lifter, race pack, security, sound system.

Save your money. Don't get the two-tone exterior, just do a vinyl wrap for the roof did you get fuji or avus? I'm getting the 19" wheel in satin black, and i didnt get those daytona race seats because they are not comfortable to me and I don't track!
