HELP!!!!!!Which cleaner to use on 3M clear Bra

I have a black pearl paint and had the whole hood wrapped in 3 M tape. For some reason the bugs marks are impossible to remove even with Bug and Tar remover which I suspect is not good on the plastic.
However much of the bugs are removerd but there are still bugs marks that remain....
Is it the Black paint that shows up more?
I don't seem to notice it on my silver car

Leave the stubborn bug marks as they are so that they can be a warning to future bugs for what's going to happen to them if they don't stay away!

My installer recommends cleaning the film 1st with soap/water. Then apply isopropyl alcohol followed by Stoner bead spray wax. I have been doing this for about the last year and a half and the film is still in excellent shape.

I've tried the soap and water as well as the rubbing alcohol all with no success. Seems like the insides of the bugs stay splattered on the film and are impossible to remove. May be that this is only visible on a black car.

certain acid-etched defects- if left on too long- will be stay permanently on the clearbra. your installer can confirm this. always clean the bra asap- esp. in hot weather.

I have lots of experience with this. If the film has been etched with bug acids, you need to buff it off.

3M Perfect-It Machine Polish (part number 06064) used with their color coded buffing pad (Part number 05738) is pretty amazing. Not only will it take out any scratch or stain on PPF, it's about as foolproof as I have ever seen on paint. I swear my 6 year old niece could do a professional looking job without swirling the paint.

If you really want to go the extra mile, follow that with 3M Perfect-It Ultrafine Machine Polish (part number 06068) used with the blue pad (part number 05733). This stuff just puts the finishing touch on and makes the gloss (on paint or PPF) look incredibly deep and swirl free.

    Hope this helps.

Does it ever help. I will give it a try and order the materials as you sure sound like you know what you are talking about. Thanks for the help.
If you have any suggestions as to where I can order this then that would be even better.
Will one of the cheepo buffers do the job or need I get a professional model...
