Anyone else from here planning on going?

I was till two idiots off my facebook have said about it. One thinks he is a driving god in ghey 1.8 TT with silly wheels.
The other can't reverse off his own drive without a 100 point turn
So that really does put me off as I'm guessing its going to be full of thick chavs who "can drive init"
2012 nissan GTR daily driver
2011 R8 V10 daily driver expected end of jan. Only 3 more days to go shes waiting for me!
Ferrari 458 in white with a black roof with added winter pack.
Toyota tundra V8 for sale or swap for ford F350 or bigger
Oh dear...
I'll only be going on track as part of the Audi SRS dedicated session if at all. A group of guys with performance Audi's who care about their cars and drive well.
Avoids the chavs and mental trade cars driven by employees who don't give a ****.
The Audi Driver International day in October will be better...
Hi gents,
I am going to this and will most likley have a STaSIS s.charged R8 with me, pop over and say hello if you do make it.
BR,
Ed
Definitely!!!
I would not worry too much about twats on the track. The marshalls will black flag them before they have any time to do any damage.
The last CC track day I did was very well organised and run.
Looks like fun always been tempted to track my car! You guys ever had any problems while tracking yours? I guess at first you just take the corners slow and go for it more as you get the hang of it?
This video really puts me off ever tracking my car tho

I've never had a problem - but then I'm not trying to do super human speeds and manoeuvres.
Keep within the limit of your skills and conditions and you'll be fine.
I did it with audi's cars at Infineon. I don't know what happened to that guy in the video but you have to be pretty crazy aggressive to do that. I was hitting the GT pretty hard to failure and never felt I would take the car so sideways it would run into a barrier.

The Viper brakes heavily before entering the chicane. Viper driver evidently knows the track (and his car). Just before the audi spins off you can see the Viper lunging hugely from left to right as the road camber comes back flat from that dip in the 2nd corner of the chicane.
The r8 at probably 20% faster had no chance. Quite a few others came off there too by the looks.
