Bull Run R8 Accident?

My local news is reporting an accident nearby, and the driver was involved in the BullRun Rally. It looks like a R8 Spyder to me, but can't tell for sure. Another news outlet is reporting it was a Maserati. Luckily there were no injuries reported. Here is the article from this morning with a picture:

I was worried the kid might run over his dad. I almost ran over my dad, I was near that age. Dad push started me in the race buggy. I accidently floored it, did a donut and my dad had to jump out of the way. I don't remember who was MORE scared...me or dad.

Those actions make it bad for everyone. Last fun run I was on was horrible with all the local LE monitoring us. For some reason when a group of sports cars get together to go lunch or take a ride in the country LE assumes there is something going on. These Bull Run events just give us a bad reputation.
