Interesting article ... they seem to like it on the whole ... maybe the soon to be available ... 'sport suspension' might be worth considering ... having read the line ...
"MagneRide works here too, and has been calibrated to not vary much between Normal and Sport as the Audi is meant for clients not looking to get bruised under any circumstances. Together with the optional 19in Pirelli P Zero tires on all the tester cars present, these dampers made for a good Audi-style compromise between sporty and sturdy."
... it makes me wonder if they Audi Magnetic Ride might be set ... a little on the soft side ... time will tell I suppose ... I doubt I'll change my suspension spec ... currently Magnetic Ride ... although if it turns out to feel softer than the set up on my RS4 ... which has the sports suspension plus option ... I might consider going for the 'sport suspension' on the R8 ... if it is available for my car ... i.e. build date meaning the option is available.
Gone but not forgotten ...
VW Golf V6 4motion (does just what it says on the tin)
Vauxhall Lotus Carlton (a beast of a motorway cruiser)
Honda NSX, manual JDM (a beauty to drive anywhere)
Audi RS4, B7 saloon (awesome on any road - or track)
Oh god, LED headlamps, and late 2007?!?! I will hate it if I get my car with xenons and then two months later see some one with the LEDs. Why cant they release all the options when the car debuts. God**** Audi...
Great review. Nice article.
