    Coupe or Spyder

Got to see a coupe and spyder side by side last weekend and I am just not sure which I like more. I love the coupe's side blades but there is just something about the spyder that makes it seem more "aggressive" to me. What do you guys think?

    Here is a video I made of both cars [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kickOAAAD0w"]‪Audi R8 Combo‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]

I like them both - come's down to what you want from the car as to which is better suited.

Can't say I agree about the spyder being more "aggressive", I personally think it's the other way around. I think colour choice makes a bigger difference if wanting an aggressive look is the goal.

Dude, it's all about which one jumps out at you. Go with your gut. And it really does not make one &%$# bit of difference what WE think. Which one do you see yourself in? If you have to talk yourself in to one or the other, it is the wrong choice. Go with the heart!

    Re: Coupe or Spyder

When I ordered in April I asked for a few days incase I wanted to change to the coupe. I went back and forth a few times and finally decided on the rag top. Living in the sunshine state gave the Spyder the edge.

They both have their positive attributes and coming from a 997 P Turbo Coupe (and loving the handling) I hope the handling of the Spyder will be adequate on the few track days a year I plan to do.

I just heard the car may be in Sept 4th way ahead of schedule (mid Nov). I am not questioning that with the dealer.

There is one important thing not to be forgotten to pick one or the other. I am 6'3" and I fit perfect in the Coupe but the Spyder is really tight if you are over 6' , now if that is not an issue for you I say just pick which one you want. For me if it wasn't a fit issue I would pick the Spyder over the Coupe.

    Re: Coupe or Spyder

First you are comparing a V8 model to a V10 Spyder.

You are comparing a new model to a 5 year old model in reality.

The V10 coupe has a more "aggressive" stance with its cosmetic variations over the V8 and its a newer cosmetic design like the Spyder.

Spyder is a great "performance lifestyle" car with awesome performance.

The Coupe has that beautiful engine in full view which when I had my Spyder I missed a lot.

Question..If you see a Ferrari Coupe and Spyder..which one do you see as the more aggressive serious one?

    Re: Coupe or Spyder

Buy the spyder only if you're going to be driving with the top down most of the time. I don't think any convertible looks good with it's top up, maybe you agree.

I don't like convertibles because I don't like being in the sun all the time.
