Cost to install radar / laser ?

Planning on purchasing Beltronics Sti-R radar detector and Blinder M47 laser jammers (2 Front/2 Rear) for Spyder. The person who has been recommended for meticulous work on high end cars in Charlotte NC is quoting me a price of $1300 to do install. Seems excessive. What is a fair price ?

That sounds about right if you are doing an integrated/stealth install. It's a lot of work and requires quite a bit of fabrication.

That's not a bad price. Done right, this is probably a 10+ hour install. Getting the heads mounted in the back are going to be the tricky part.

I've done three of these systems now, so if your installer needs any tips or tricks, please let me know. I'm very intimate with the layout and have some suggestions if needed.
