Front Grill w/ License Plate Delete Installation

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to swap my front grill w/ license plate out, and put in one without the plate. I called an Audi dealership in Atlanta, they quoted me for3.5 hours of labor, which equals to $460. Does it really take that long to swap the front grills?

They charge by what the "book" says. Even if they get it done in half the time, in which I'm sure is the case here.

Buy the part yourself on-line at a discount, and then have a local bodyshop install it for you. Call around for labour quotes first.

That sounds like a relatively reasonable quote. I've been quoted nearly double that b4 btw. My swap by a local shop took about around 2.5 hours I believe.

If you're handy with tools, I'll be doing a How To on removing and replacing the grill/front bumper for your car in the next week or so. It's not hard, just has a large amount of fasteners involved.
