R8's sited on Colorado Roads 4 MAR 07

Greetings from the Rocky Mountains!

Sunday morning while heading home on I-25 South of Colorado Springs, I passed two R8's, (one silver and one black) with Florida plates with a Audi wagon for support coming out of the local truck stop at Exit 128 heading towards the New Mexico border. They were traveling approx 65-70 MPH while the speed limit is 75 MPH. I presume to not arouse the interest of the Colorado State Patrol which has a large presence in the 30 mile stretch between Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

The cars look great and I let them pass me once and then I repassed them to get a closer look as this is the first time I have seen one in person.

Looking forward to their release this fall.
