I live in the Netherlands and no deposit is needed here. Last week I ordered mine R8, delivery expected in may 2007.

I wonder how quickly I could move to the Netherlands ... looks like the R8 might be out there before the UK.

Uh, i think the R8 is, like all other cars here, 30% more expensive and ofcourse lefthand drive!

Verbal order in September 06, No.2 on their list so they say - I've bought a few Audis from my dealer so no deposit required yet. No news on any information pack though - just checked this morning & they're due in this week apparently.

V8 on order, no initial deposit required but 10% due in January. Delivery promised for 1st September 2007.

I saw the R8 at le Mans in June 2004 and ordered mine as soon as it was confirmed for production in May 2005. I don't know when I will get delivery but I do know I can't wait.

about #15 on my dealers list... they expect about 12 cars for the first year. so my only chance is for a few folks to get cold feet!!

Yes, I'm based in Hampshire but have orderd through Audi Birmingham having bought both a RS6 and an S8 from them in the past.

I am fourth on my dealers list as of today here in Northern California. They are being quite reasonable and required only $5K. Other dealers are up to 11 or so already and are asking $20K deposit, but that dealer told me they would get about 7 cars per year so; it would seem to take 18 months to get a car. I am hoping for a relatively early car from my dealer.
