My first Drive and Impression! New to Forum.

Wow! I was very impressed. We ordered our 2012 R8 (4.2) 6sp manual about 3 weeks ago due for delivery in end of Nov/ early Dec. We come form a Porsche background last one being a 2003 C4S with mods. We own for daily drivers 2009 Audi TT S-line (wife) and 2010 A3TDI (mine).
We have been back and forth between the GT3 RS or a GT3 but the ride was way to harsh and have no intention of tracking it. We narrowed our choises to a Porsche 4sGTS and the R8. I have driven the Porsche and enjoyed it. We wanted that wow factor that The R8 brings. After todays drive I told the wife we have made the right choice. The car drives like a dream in traffic and can handle the almost 360 degree on ramps at 90. People driving up beside us and checking out the car. Now I can't wait.
