one of the first 100 cars in switzerland and still not earlier AND my audi dealer can't tell me more then that?

whats the reason for this thread?
well - as i am very anxious about all this - maybe we can keep this sticked to the forum with updates and news re release of the first cars in europe.. cause besides interior and exterior details, the delivery, imho, is the most important and exciting fact..

so pls post any info re delivery you picked up along this torturous waiting line...

I've not heard anything on UK delivery times ... other than provisional dates are expected to be known by the end of March, or the first week of April ... although in months gone by it was expected that ... the first UK should be towards the end of May, or Early June ... which is when it seems Switzerland will get their first cars ... not sure if the Swiss cars were due to be before UK ... at the same sort of time ... of if the first UK cars are due for delivery before the first Swiss ones ... maybe in two or three weeks the early UK customers will be given their provisional dates.

Have you previously been given an estimated delivery time ... ... if you have I am guessing it was earlier than week 26 ...

first provisional dates from my audi dealer were april.. but we knew at that time that this might be very optimistic..

referring to Kresos statement, I was then postponing my expectations to may.. but if that will be now june.. I dont know if PS3 will help me over this pain

there will be a weekend organised by some swiss honda freaks on the track in GROBNIK in sweet KROATIA
..free for all (and only 700km from here)

otherwise i will go to hockenheim and nurburg in summer/autumn

Your dealer must be very optimistic ... I was under the impression that the first R8s for customers wouldn't arrive until the fall of 2007 ...

That seems to be more like the information that I seem to recall reading on the ... US Audi website in recent months regarding first cars being expected in the fall.
