2010 4.2 6MT, 4k miles, 1 owner, leather package, carbon engine, nav, B&O. Owner is willing to sell for $109k? How much is a good deal for it? Appears to be in excellent condition. However, no convenience package. Thanks for input.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 2009 V8 R8 ice silver with an MSRP of $150K for $107K. This car had audi exclusive "porno red" interior though which made it difficult for the dealer to sell.
Another dealer I went to had an 09' with practically no options and 4K on the odo and I had started my offer off at $105k. The sales person went to the GM with the offer and within 15 seconds came back to me and said we aren't even close and doesn't want to waste any more of our time. I found that really insulting as I really didn't feel it was a bad offer based on my research.
At the end of it all, I ended up purchasing a new 2011 V10 and couldn't be happier with my decision.
But back to your question, I think $109K for a 2010 is a fair deal for both parties. However, I think you may be able to go a little lower being a private party sale.
Interestingly even though I'm not in the market, I've been fantasizing about a very real R-tronic 2009 V8 for $105k Canadian with practically most options checked off except full leather (from the pictures it looks like regular leather package), regular headlamps, and regular headliner.
It has:
R-Tronic Transmission
Carbon side blades
Carbon engine bay
Carbon interior trim
Ice Silver
Black regular leather interior
Navigation
B&O
17,500 km - or about 11k miles
From what I hear (and experience), they are generally the more "pleasant" of the two Audi dealerships in my town. So here's a nice offer for local Albertans.
Remember though for Canadians a new 2011/2012 V8 R8 starts at $134,000 Canadian with zero kit.

although, keep in mind I'm not really looking for fair but more for a good deal to minimize my loss when I go to sell it in a few years. But I do understand your point of view.
No convenience package is... inconvenient.
I would agree that's a good deal.

Thanks for all of the replies. Is not having the convenience package a big deal? Would it stop you from buying it?
OP, if you're concerned about future car value, some of these essential features would turn off more potential buyers than say missing Altantara headliner or full leather package. Sure it may "minimize" the loss now, but it will be harder to sell down the road in a few years time.

I thought I'd found a used R8 I liked last year, and was going to buy it until I saw no convenience package. The sensors are darn useful (especially the front ones :P), and no homelink would suck.
