Any interest in an early October Northeast or Mid-Atlantic R8 Meet?

I would like to take my R8 on a New England tour this fall, but I also think it would be a great time to get together for an R8 meet during peak foliage season, say early to mid October.

I'm in the NJ/PA/DE area just outside of Philadelphia, and I'm not sure what sort of distances people are willing to travel. I read about a previous Bear Mountain, NY meet with people coming from CT, PA, NY, etc.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in a similar location, or if perhaps people would rather not take the drive in October conditions, but I'm just throwing out my potential interest to see if others may have the same.

If nothing comes together for the region, perhaps a suburban Philadelphia meet for anyone interested. And if nothing else, we can always wait until next spring. It may be too late for the fall.

Just because the summer is almost over doesnt mean that the Car Events have to stop!

Join us for our Fall Foliage Run! This run is an ALL NEW Event for 2011 that we have been working on for the last year with Matt [cerberus] who knows the routes up there quite well. We have planned a great route with amazing scenery and a chance to drive some of the best roads New England has to offer!

We will be going north in PEAK color season, BRING YOUR CAMERAS! You wont have many chances to take pictures like this


Please be at the Burlington Mall at 9AM. Plan on being outside of the Boston area until about 4-5PM. We will have multiple stops, and a stop at a GREAT restaurant for Lunch!

As a side note, I always see a white v8 coupe parked in Tribeca in Manhattan. I am the white v10 spyder that's usually tooling around NYC on Thu/Fri/Sat

Unfortunately, my schedule is also getting more limited. I am tentatively planning on making a run up Bear Mountain on the morning of Saturday, Oct 8th, leaving from NYC for all those interested.

EDIT: I'll be continuing north from Bear Mountain up to VT.
