Stasis exhaust causing engine revving??

I installed a stasis exhaust on my MT 09 V8 about 6 months ago. Over the last few months, I've noticed the engine revving on it's own when shifted to neutral with the foot off the clutch. RPMs go from 800 to 1,500 back and forth for 6-8 times before it stops on it's own. This seems to be worse when the outside temperature is high (maybe coincidence... It's been very hot here in Houston). I took it in to the dealer a few weeks ago and, after several days of checking, they decided to replace the throttle body. This really made no difference.
I took it back again this week and the dealer tells me it's the exhaust that's causing the problem. They suggested I call stasis.
I have a call in to Jeff at stasis... We'll see.
Anybody have similar issues??

Yes, I have noticed that same thing on my 2008 V8 with an aftermarket PPE exhaust. I think it's called "hunting". It doesn't do it all the time, strangely enough. Not sure what exactly makes it happen. I let someone else drive it, and that guy noticed it after about 5 minutes of driving. The PPE has valves that while open, completely bypass the muffler. And the valves open when the engine idles. Maybe the lack of backpressure has something to do with it?

I noticed that it happens only while rolling. If I bring the car to a stop, it stops hunting. Strange.

My V10 does it with the stock exhaust just on warm up. I don't think it has to do with your AM exhaust. Just like you said...with warm temps.

I have not had this issue with my MT V10 that has the STaSIS exhaust installed.

My 09mt does the same thing with a stock exhaust. Taking to dealership tomorrow. Will get back to you with their answer.

I Have the same issue with my 2009 R8 V8 with the Stasis exhaust. Car is currently at the dealer. They fixed the problem. When I pick up the car, I will let you know what they found.

Took it in to the dealer and couldnt duplicate the problem...of course! They didnt have any suggestions but will look into it
