Paint ????

Well my Sepang blue now has over 5 K miles on the clock and the other day while washing I was horrified to see chipped paint starting on the back wheel arch at the rear wing (fender) the problem was even worse as Audi use white base primer, looks like someone took a 12 gauge to the L/H rear wing (fender)

Any on else experiencing this but would probably only show on dark coloured cars.

Took it to my local dealer who has photographed it and sent off a report to Audi Uk technical, anyone had this area clear taped??

I haven't seen it before I had my car wrapped, but a few days ago I looked at that area and the vinyl wrapping I have there there, the vinyl was obliterated.

It looks like the area gets a ton of stones and road material flying at it from the wheels, which makes perfect sense.

I'd definitely recommend to vinyl wrap or clear wrap that area.

Stone chips do seem very common in that area. All the paint had been completley removed from the edge by the front wheel arch of my drivers side sideskirt. But wierdly the paint was perfect on the other sideskirt. I just used some touchup paint mixed using the VW paint code. On an area so hidden away as that I dont think touchup paint really matters.

Worst part is there is no Audi touch up for Sepang Blue !!!!

Mine had it to I really wish I had it fully wrapped not just bits and bobs.

After the car was detailed you couldn't really see it at all

Your from the UK mate just get halfords to mix it for you. They are able to mix any VW paint. Thats what they had to do for my paint.
