Aftermarket steering wheel warranty issues

I'm about to install a new cf wheel from Macarbon and was just curious if anybody have had issues with the warranty being void with an aftermarket wheel. Even though it uses the oem core and everything mechanical is oem I can see the dealership coming up with excuses for the wheel being tampered with thus not covered under warranty. I actually had a bad paddle go out on me and is being replaced under warranty. I've heard stuck paddles are a common problem so just wondering if this happened with a aftermarket wheel if warranty would still cover it. Same with airbag issues.

I can't imagine a new wheel would void anything at all. It's actually a very simple d.I y. as well.
