Can SD Slot read folders?

If you create different folders on your SD card for mp3's will the player let you select between folders?

Do you have to name them a certain way for it to recognize the folders? I just tried creating 3 folders and it'll automatically play "Folder 1" but won't let me select the other folders? Do you scroll down with the knob to find the other folders or hit the MP3 Controls button? I tried both and couldn't select the other folders.

i've got a folder structure like in windows, just scroll up and there should be something like "folder up" or similar.. or try going back/up with return

yes u will be able to choose out of your folder structure

I also believe you press Return to go up a folder level(?)

Sorry to bump an old thread - does anyone know if there is a way to make it shuffle through all mp3s on the card, in all subfolders? I was only able to get it to shuffle within whichever folder I picked.

For example, I have all my songs organized by albums but want to play through all songs

I have the same issue. Luckily, I have the AMI, so I just plug a USB stick in. Any solutions for the media card though?

Audi Media Interface. It's a no cost swap option for the 6 CD changer when you spec the car up. I don't use CDs so I wanted the car to have the AMI so I can plug in a USB key or iPod.
