Yes, it's on the car. My salesperson gave it to me as a gift when I took delivery of the car 2 years ago.

I considered the Audi cf plate as well. It's a great look. You can order it through any Audi Parts Dept. A little pricy though - over $100.

Audi sells two carbon fiber versions that I have seen. One that has "Truth in Engineering" (below) and the other that has "Audi Sport" on it. I have the Audi Sport version.

Very good quality, but then again, very expensive for a license plate frame. The lines and such are very straight as you can see below. I also like grommets that came with the plate and being to anchor the plate with four bolts to reduce rattle. The grommets, of course, you can buy any place though. I also just bought some black caps to cover the bolts.

I previously had the CF ones you can get on Ebay for about $30 or so. It just didn't sit right and the frame touched the body surface in the back.

I just got the same one as sebringsilver in the mail today. It looks real nice but do agree $100 for a plate frame is kind of expensive. However when you see the quality you'll know why. The entire thing is made of real carbon fiber and not just cf covering. Got mine from suncoast auto.
