trade in suzuka grey R tronic for a black manual Manual

Hello there, recently i just purchased a suzuka grey Audi R8 with R tronic gear box.
i have drove for more than 2500 km, i have decide to trade it in for a manual gear box.

The audi dealer ship is doing me a favour by asking me if i want to trade in my suzuka grey R8 with R tronic gear box to a phantom Black r8 manual gear box.

and the car does come extra options such as fine nappa leather and carbon inlays, and hillside assist and power folding mirrors. those 3 options alone cost like 10k but downgrade the Rtronic to a manual for JUST 8000 dollars. what do ur guys think of the deal, oh yeah the car has 0 km on it as well

I have a black, manual V10, for me half the fun of driving is the manual gear box which is superb.
Obviously you need to have a drive in it to make sure you are happy with manual first.

me having done the same, coming from Rtronic and now having the manual, I would never go back, I love the gearing and the clicking while shifting on the manual car way more

Go for it. The manual is very easy to drive and the clutch is light and responsive. It's a blast to shift quickly and hear the metallic click as the shifter goes through the gate.

Of course, going to the V10 helps it seem a little more fun too!

I totally agree, I would trade in a heartbeat. I love the sound it makes when it shifts and also they don't make supercars in manual anymore. It's going to be a rare find in the future.

If only it was a manual Suzuka Grey. I hate black cars, but that's just a personal preference. The gated shift of a 6-speed feels like loading a gun and engaging each gear is like firing it off...a very visceral and awesome feeling that simply can't be replicated by an r-tronic.

TOTALLY agree....very nicely put freshmeat. Combined with your TUBI exhaust, I'm sure it's just out of control. I'm thinking about getting a TUBI too, are there different models? If so, which one should I get???

Mine's Rumore, non-valved. It's the highest-pitched and loudest version of the V8 Tubi. Cold start sounds like the world is coming to an end, definitely not for the conservative types.
