Drove a V12 Vantage yesterday and enjoyed the heck out of it. Am interested in hearing from the R8 crowd on the potential for trading out the R8 V10 for the V12V.
There must be some current or former AM owners here. What are your thoughts?

I just traded my V8 Vantage in for a V10 R8...
My options were to get the V12 gently used or a V10 R8 new. I test drove both and while the V12 had more power than mine, it felt and drove similar. That's definitely not a bad thing though!
For me, I wanted to drive something different. I also live in northern Wisconsin, married with two kids under the age of three so the other benefits were not having to go to Chicago for service. I also wanted something I could drive year round, I always hated garaging the Aston come winter.
I am looking forward to the delivery of my R8 which has now been moved up to December. I always say though, when I get a bigger garage in two years, I plan to have another Vantage preferably V12 parked next to the R8. I have never regretted owning the Aston and I hope I don't regret selling it, but change is good.
I personally don't think either is a bad choice. I'd love to know what you end up choosing and which you prefer.
