bought a used 2008 R8 (v8) and I was wondering if someone can tell me all the booklets that comes with it. as far as i know there is user manual, navigation dvd and service dvd.

Typically there will be the User Manual, an Audi warranty manual (USA in your instance) and a Pirelli tire warranty flyer. (Did I forget anything? I don't have my manual with me right now.)
In addition, after the original purchase Audi of America sends information under separate cover regarding Audi Roadside service and the Audi R8 Advocate team, usually accompanied by a small gift (search to see examples).

Not sure I understand what the service DVD is? Did you get a Bentley manual? If so, that is a nice bonus from the seller.
