Time in Port?

Is there anyone out there who followed their incoming car closely?
I'm wondering how long they are in port before released to dealer?
Mine has been there 9 days with no expected release date. I'm thinking this is strange? Maybe it is normal?

then today I'm told it will be 10-14 days more..customs hold..
think they had to order part from germany/

This screws up my drive to sarasota to have Heffner do
the twin turbo routine that they knew I had scheduled ..Audi offered to truck the car to Heffner
at their expense when I told them I was considering canceling
and buying a used one with 1400 miles on it for a bunch less.

Class gesture...I'm taking them up on it!

Mine was just released for transport yesterday after an approximate 2 week hold in port. I believe this is typical. Nice of Audi to cover shipping costs for you though! Congratulations, and keep us posted on the Heffner mods....

yes it was. My original plan was to pick it up in philly ..see a freind in conn
then drive to sarasota fla.. but with change of release unable to drive
due to employee vacation schedule.
