One day on track and need some more in Michigan. Anyone want to hook up?

After an Infenion day this summer I have been driving my r8 as a daily driver and can't wait to rage it. I don't need to kill it but test it for sure. Last thing I want to do it du it into a wall but I need to go fast!!!

The last couple of months has been a tease around the Detroit area. I need friends or at
East one of you looking to Shepard me around to a track. Call it what you will but I feel aulkward showing up by myself to some track for the first time. Errr.

Come to Road America around August 8-9th. This year we had nine R8's.

Track season is over in MI, but look me up in the spring. I am on the west side of the state where we have Gingerman and Grattan. I don't know what's available on the east side but if you want to do something closer to home shoot me a PM come spring and I'll try to make it.

Check out http://www.cgimotorsports.com/ if you want to do a day at Gingerman with an instructor. I think Audi club does an event at Grattan each summer also.

Hi there neighbors!!!!

I have been researching R8s since last summer and started shopping for a 09/08 automatic.

My target is to have one in the garage by spring so hopefully we will be able to meet up with the Michigan crowd sometime!

I was in Dearborn last night at LaPita. The owner ther is an Audi freak. He is in his 2nd Audi R8.

There are 4 or 5 in hiding here in Dearborn.

You have an Audi. There is an Audi organization that will run several track events, Mid Ohio in July comes to mind, that would be happy to help you with getting comfortable in your R8 on the track. There are also club events at Road America, Gratten etc. in your neck of the woods
