Would a tuned R8 V10 outrun a stock LP560?

Does anyone here have real world experience with a tuned R8 V10 vs a stock 560, and if so, what were the results? Or how about a tuned/exhaust R8 V10 vs. 560??

yes it can my car is stage 2 revo tuned and I out ran both a LP-560 and a 458 italia, with the italia though i had the advantage cause he had a passenger

here is a video of a quick run from 120 km to 230 km we did yesterday while we were fine tuning the tune for 98 RON




P.S. my car has a Revo stage 2 custom tune, and capristo exhaust system, it was tuned on straight pipes basically :P

It would also be interesting to compare tuner/exhaust packages to one another.

Side by side pulls in 3rd gear from 60 mph or even slower to redline 110 mph, no shifting and therefore no driver/shifter input.

Out dragging one another is not the only thing but it is a quantity that most of us relate to.

I know I am not answering your specific question, but I did run head-to-head against a 2007 Gallardo (pre LP 560) at the drag strip this summer. We had 3 runs and I spanked him every time which was rather fun and most people there were surprised that an Audi would outrun a Lambo.

I can absolutely guarantee that my car would spank an LP560's ass assuming I didn't fluff the gear changes ;-)

Yes, but you have a 50K upgrade. This is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a simple exhaust / tune package that will most likely only pick up 20-30 whp.
