Hello:
I have just joined this forum, as a proud owner of a 2009 R8/4.2. Love performance cars -- currently have a Chevy Corvette, a Maserati Coupe and my favorite the black R8. Also like mobikes, have 4 BMW bikes and one H-D. Am retired at 62, but plenty busy with wife and three adult children.
Am about to put my R8 in winter storage and wanted to know where the battery terminals are located. Passenger or Driver side of the luggage area? And, how does the cover panel come off? Does it slide out or does it have to pulled up -- don't want to risk breaking it.

Hi Sunil, welcome to the forum.

The battery is reachable from the front luggage area, there's a sliding cover right in front of you when you open, it slides to the right, you need a firm hand.
