V10/V8 Full Roar Sound

Went with a fellow forum member to the track yesterday and my wife recorded a VERY SHORT clip of us both coming down the main straight at full chat...Thought it might interest some?

First car is my V10 followed by the V8.

I have joined the same sequence together 4 times to re enforce the sound.

Turn it up loud and hear the 2 engines going hard.

Are both cars completely stock (aside from the V8 having the V10 front bumper)?

great way to compare them - I prefer the v8 personally in that clip, but I am addicted to the sound of the hard edged bite of the v10 accelerating to redline.

AWE Switchable Exhaust..on the V10 with the valve switch on close.
V8 is stock OEM.

Depends on the day for me..V8 one day V10 the next...love them both.

In this clip though the V10 for me provides a higher revving edgy hardcore note which makes it sound more"race engine"?

V8 still does sound great as well..doesn't it!

I hope the spectators were entertained with 2 R8's flying past nose to tail at 200kmh.

Like you, I love them both - and they're different enough to change the character of the car when going from one to another.

To me, when they're accelerating hard to redline, the v8 sounds "powerful" whereas the v10 sounds "angry and aggressive".
