AUDI R8 private drive event

Just wondering if anyone in SOCAL went to this event over the weekend? Here are some pics I took, and I have more I'll upload later. They are having another one in January in San Diego. I got invited to that one as well. But this Sunday, they let me drive a black spider V10 and it was amazing. We had them for around 3 hours and we were driving on Ortega Hwy. We all hit speeds over 100 mph which is pretty fast on that mountain. Good thing there weren't any cops that day. Anyway, now my V8 feels slow, haha. The spider V10 definitely does not need an aftermarket exhaust in my opinion. You can hear everything perfectly loud. And lots of people say that their V10s don't sound as nice as the V8s, but having driven both, I think the V10 sounds just as good if not better. The exhaust sound is a much higher pitch, which I really liked. I think they want me to trade mine in for a V10, haha.

WOW, I'm jealous of your TWIN TURBO V10 spider!!! Yeah, let me know when you get it back and we'll get a meet together with a few R8s. What part of SOCAL are you from? I'm in OC. hehehee, they're letting me drive a R8 there and then letting my friend drive their r8!

g-force, I'm sure they will welcome your TT there if you wanted to drive with all the other R8s....you'll just be the fastest one there, lol. the only thing is that they put a walkie talkie in all their R8s, so unless they lend you an extra one, you'll probably get lost on the drive, haha. take lots of pictures guys and post them up on this thread.
