Hi guys, I am looking for a little help with pricing on a V10 Coupe. I see many discussions but I know times and economic climates change.
I have 2 offers.
The first is from my local dealer here in Germany for 110,000€ out the door for a white 2012 or 2013 with white paint, carbon side blades and polished 2 arm 5 spokes. My wife is American employed by US here so I can take advantage of her tax free status and remove the 19% VAT as well as take the 15% discount I am being offered on the car itself. Final offer is 110,000€ while Sticker is 153,000€.
At the same time because my wife's american tax advantage and her employment with the US here I can buy a US spec car and have an offer for the same car. 2012 or 2013 White, carbon blades, polished 5 spokes, no US tax, no German tax and no Gas guzzler fee. They are offering me invoice pricing of $142,400 out the door while sticker is $153,050.
So with my current exchange rate I do slightly better on the German spec model and have the ability to sale the car easier in a few years here at home being its a local spec car. But my ultimate question is if the $142,400 invoice offer from the US spec firm is reasonable. Are you guys negotiating cheaper than invoice there in the US? Because I can also buy US car from the US and ship it here again tax free if there are better deals that make it worth the effort.
Thank you in advance and I hope it all makes sense!
