I suspect the Artist's impression is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Looks like i picked the wrong time to buy into the R8 with a new one round the corner...
Hope Audi do go with the 4.0 V8 Bi turbo engine, tuning potential would be massive.

Looks like the R4 will get the same design language as the R8, or they just used the same guy to do the illustration and hes not get a varied imagination.....

    R8

    R4

The R4 has been canned. Apparently Porsche put pressure on Audi to cancel as it would eat into Boxter sales.

    LOL

expect to see the update in geneva in april. nothing more than a mild front grille and rear light update. new MMI inside. but that is about it except for the 540 hp and DSG in the V10. the only interesting thing will be the V10 DSG performance. probably equal to the R8 GT including ring time of about 7:30-7:35. no point in any more changes than this since the all new car will come out in 2014 (2 yrs away).

Not true, Audi have an open book for the car now.
Cayman will share the platform. I'm number 12 on the list.

Its still no guarantee it will hit production.
