This is a shout out to uk owners just to gauge numbers to who would be interested in a dive down to the factory to see our cars being bolted
together.
It would also be good to hear from any one who as been .

I went in March of this year, and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed it, and it's a very personal experience with the tour guide. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I was in Germany, and I've honestly considered doing a European delivery on my car just so I could go back a 2nd time! I highly recommend it for any R8 lover.

I have been, I helped organise a group visit via my tour car business, ( full report on the web site below ) if you get Audi UK to book it for you on the basis it’s a group Audi appreciation club ( Audi ambassadors, they like that term! ) they really lay on the extra effort, we got a full tour, gastro lunch with drinks, our cars valeted while we visited, we got to see the race cars being tested as part of factory celebrations of race wins, and finally free gifts on departure, all free of charge.

If you need any help with contacts let me know. And if you are going that far go the extra distance and tie in with a public day at the Nurburgring and stay at Piston Klaus ( Sabine’s family )

iv actually already got this tour booked for 15 people in April

but since the TF dates for the Ring were released we're looking to reschedule ... so lets combine efforts and get a mega R8 convoy

also, good shout on getting Audi UK to book, I have some contacts there I will use ;-)

it needs to tie in with TF days at the Ring for us (NudeNut / iR8V8)

not bank holidays and preferably wkday evenings when its quieter
