How many people have a front plate on their R8?

I have one on mine and don't like it, but too much trouble to change.

Me me me! And no, it doesn't bother me at all. Come to think of it, even Tony Stark has one!



It costs about $1,000 (here in Canada, anyway) to have the front grill changed from the one that does to the one that doesn't hold a front plate. I've had it done twice.

No plate for me, but just got my first ticket for not having one in 10+ years of not putting one on. Ticket only $20 but I am fighting it since it's a moving violation ticket here now and don't want the points on my insurance. I am planning on changing front end this winter and was going to get with plate delete but now rethinking that. The mount on the R8 does not look as bad as it does on some cars and also hides my laser jammer

None here. Not been stopped in this car (was given a warning in another) for it either and they're required in Ohio.

Just another reason to move to Arizona for me - no front plate required there! 2.5 years and counting...

As soon as I buy a new car I always make sure the dealer screws one in with self tapping screws. Love it!
