I think I might have mentioned this a few months ago and we still have a couple spots open if anyone is interested. Don't get many chance's around here to do this kind of Rally, We did Cabot Trail last year and it was a blast. Most of the same people going this year and it's a great group and we had a lot of fun and no drama. It is very well run and only nice Hotels used. Do you have what it takes to tame the dragon? With 318 curves in 11 miles, US129 is America's number one sports car road and the destination for our follow up to the Cabot Trail. Join us as we deliver a 5 night, 6 day event that combines some of the finest venues and hotels with some of the best roads this country has to offer. Participants will be entertained by historical and scenic views while encountering surprises along the way. The 2012 Yuppie Rally offers its entrants a first class experience at a fraction of the cost of similar events.
The 2012 Yuppie Rally will take place from June 5th-10th, 2012. All entrants must be present at the starting line (Larz Anderson Auto Museum) by 5pm on June 5th.
To be at the starting line June 5th, entrants must meet the following requirements:
1. All drivers must carry a valid driver’s license
2. Participants must be 18+
3. Vehicles must be registered and insured
4. Vehicles must carry valid inspection sticker(where applicable)
5. Vehicle and participant fees must be paid in full.
6. Vehicle must be Performance Oriented.
Entry fee: $1,575 – Included in the fee… 5 nights hotel (no motel 8’s on this trip) for 2ppl, 5 breakfasts, 3 dinners, secure parking, and a Yuppie Rally gift bag.
*For every additional passenger over the two included there will be an additional $400/Per Person
*2011 Cabot Trail participants will receive a 10% discount to this year's rally, as a token of our appreciation for returning!
Dead-lines:
1/31/12- Deposit of $400 and Registration Due (sign up early, this WILL reach capacity fast!)
3/31/12- Remainder of payment due
This is quick run down of the drive, Will be leaving from Boston around 5PM
The route is as follows
Day1: Boston to Philly- mat says 5hours at that time of night (says he's done it in 4) as he used to go to school there
Day2: Philly to Knoxville- 9 hours but we have an event planned mid day
Day3: tail of the dragon deals gap, morning is the dragon, then some other local roads, hotel is within an hour from the tail, and we'll be back there by 6 for dinner
Day4: Jackson city to Williamsburg VA. Less than 6 hours
Day5: williamsburg to Atlantic city (via Chesapeake bay bridge/virginia beach) 6hours
Day6: Atlantic City to Boston 6hours
